As a third generation grower, processor and marketer of the finest citrus fruit and juices in the world, I am pleased that our family can provide you with a complete product line of citrus. Most of our groves are located in the heart of the famous Indian River District on the East coast of Florida.
My grandfather planted the first groves allowing Mother Nature to provide the sun and sea breezes that fills our fruit with sweetness. This tradition was handed down to my father and ultimately to my generation. Brother Tom provides caretaking for approximately 6,000 acres of citrus in the same manner as our forefathers. Recently, the fourth generation has become involved in the family endeavors and the family tradition continues.
Our company started packing citrus in 1963. Today we have two packinghouses and a juice facility with combined fresh fruit capacity in excess of 2.5 million cartons. In 1996, we launched into selling our own fresh fruit and expanded our sales to include citrus juice products. By controlling all phases of our citrus operation, we are able to deliver the best quality and freshest citrus right to your door. All of our facilities use the most modern equipment available and our long-time employees are proud of the job required to maintain our quality standards.
